‘Donald Cried’: Calling on Donald – Exclusive Clip

Feature film debut is in release on VOD and iTunes.

Donald Cried is a comedy/drama about a man who returns to his hometown after a death in the family and encounters his long lost, childhood friend, who asks for a favor with surprising consequences.

Recently released to VOD, Donald Cried follows the story of Peter Latang (Jesse Wakeman), who leaves a working class job in Rhode Island to reinvent himself as a Wall Street mover and shaker. Fifteen years later, he returns home to bury his grandmother though loses his wallet on the trip. Stranded, he calls his childhood friend Donald (Kris Avedisian) who asks Peter for a favor, pulling him into a day-long odyssey.

Written and directed by Kris Avedisian, and produced by David Gordon Green (All The Real Girls), Donald Cried is an award-winning independent film based on an acclaimed short of the same name. Starring Avedisian and Wakeman, it also features Louisa Krause, who was recently in the Nicolas Cage film Dog Eat Dog, and Ted Arcidi, a long-time character actor with appearances in Academy Award-winning and nominated film such as The Fighter and The Town. Look for our review coming soon.
