Sherlock Gnomes is a 2018 animated film about Garden gnomes, Gnomeo & Juliet, who recruit renowned detective Sherlock Gnomes to investigate the mysterious disappearance of other garden ornaments.
If ever there was a word pun that didn’t need to be made, it’s got to be “Sherlock Gnomes”, though … okay, yes, it’s kinda good. Darn it. In this follow-up to the 2011 surprise hit Gnomeo & Juliet, we one once again follow the adventures of the garden gnomes, led by Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt), the husband and wife team who must discover what has happened to the sudden disappearance of the other garden gnomes. To do so, they call in the help of none other than the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Gnomes (Johnny Depp) and his trusty sidekick, Gnome Watson (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Gnome-one expected this.
Sherlock Gnomes is scheduled for release March 23.
