Why is Stallone worried about Indian Rambo remake?

New poster and details about this up-doming reboot.

Rambo is a scheduled Indian reboot that follows the story of the original Hollywood film Rambo: First Blood.

It was announced today in the morning that Indian actor Tiger Shroff revealed the poster of his upcoming Hindi Feature film Rambo on Twitter. Rambo, the Indian version is an official remake of Sylvester Stallone‘s classic Rambo: First Blood (1982). Here’s the poster:

The Rambo remake is being directed by Siddharth Anand who had earlier directed the Indian movie titled Bang Bang, which was itself a remake of the Tom Cruise action film Knight and Day. Bang Bang received mixed response from critics and audiences in India. And according to me, this might be what worries Stallone.

After the news broke, Stallone took to Twitter and Instagram:

Stallone later posted that he is supporting the Bollywood remake, but the above mentioned post doesn’t seem that way to me. However, the Rambo remake will be about the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. Forced into the dangerous jungles and frozen mountains of the Himalayas, he unleashes mayhem and destruction, becoming the unstoppable machine he was trained to be.

I also hear there’s another American reboot of the movie as a television series titled Rambo: New Blood in in the works for which casting is under consideration.

Rambo (Indian Remake) is due to start filming in February 2018 and is schedule for release that same year.
