First Man is a 2018 historical biography about the life of astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
Universal Pictures as released the third trailer to its upcoming dramatization of the life one of the most famous men in history, with Ryan Gosling in the lead, the film layered in style under the direction of Oscar winner Damien Chazelle. Looking to give the oft-told tale of Armstrong’s greatest achievement a darker more authentic turn (it’s based on his own book), the film looks to be another visually stunning and deeply emotional experience form Chazelle, who worked with Gosling in last year’s La La Land.
First Man releases in theaters October 12.
