‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ PS4 Exclusive Gets Delayed

The hugely successful Uncharted series, staring the charismatic everyday hero Nathan Drake has pushed the envelope of gaming since its inception with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune in 2007. It’s latest chapter, A Thief’s End is set to do the same, perhaps for the last time, but now we have to wait just a little bit longer to play.

Naughty Dog has built a phenomenal franchise with Uncharted.  Rarely are there games that get highly praised in all their sequels.  It is something that is unexpected.  Like most fans, the excitement and anticipation of the 4th game is, to say the least, high. However, with a few delays already, the news of a delay, after an almost guaranteed release date in April, is both worrisome and intriguing.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is now postponed two more weeks with a release date of May 10, 2016. The reason being that it needs extra manufacturing time to meet the demand and ensure that it can fulfill the supply needed for all the players who look forward on playing it on day one. However, Playstation has been releasing a lot of content to make sure that Uncharted 4 is going to offer a fantastic story to match up the adventures that we’ve missed since 2011 when we had its last game, Drake’s Deception.

Still, its not all bad news. Open online multiplayer Stress Test is due to open this weekend starting on March 4th running till March 7th.  You can find the times in this Playstation update HERE. The multiplayer mode is already available for download on the Playstation Store so that players can jump right in when it opens to the public to test it out.
Will you be trying out the Multiplayer mode this weekend? Are you excited for Uncharted 4? Does the delay bother you?
