The Ghost Writer
This is a political thriller about a ghostwriter played by Ewan McGregor, who gets an offer to a very lucrative contract that involves finishing the memoirs of Adam Lang, the retired Prime Minister of Britain, played by Pierce Brosnan.
Since the memoirs are already half-finished, it looked like an easy job. But the ghostwriter soon realizes that the book includes material that is seriously sensitive. With the retired minister in the middle of the political crises and getting accused of criminal activity, the ghost writer’s life might be in mortal danger. More distressing is that the ghostwriter before him might have been secretly killed for everything he learned while writing.
